Dynamic balance problem

The yellow dot on the tire side

Every tire has a red dot and a yellow dot. Through careful observation you will find that the red dot is solid and the yellow dots are hollow. So what's the point of these two dots? What should we pay attention to when new tires are mounted?

Solid red dot is the position where tire longitudinal rigidity is biggest , simply speaking, the solid red dot is is the position where tire rotate most severely when rotating, tires will vibrate when vibration value is too large, so if vibration value of new product exceeds standard, a good manufacturers won't let it leave factory. What are the best shock-absorbable parts on the vehicle? Is it a high-tech shock absorber or an advanced suspension system? No, it's a tire. Tire rotate one circle on the ground, vibration force is not equal on each angle, this phenomenon is called RFV (RadialforceVariation), when the RFV value is too large, the tire will vibrate, which influence driving comfort. This red dot means little to the sales department and users because they cannot know its value.

The hollow yellow dot also known as a light mark, indicates that the area is the lightest place on the full circle of the tire. As everybody knows, wheel is actually made up of three parts, namely: tires, wheel rim, and air valve nozzle. due to valve is on the wheel rim, so there is position of the valve on the wheel, which will be the heaviest point on the rim. And the heaviest point on the wheel rim is against the lightest point on the tires(hollow yellow point), then they will play a complementary role, which will make the "wheels" tend to be more balance. Therefore, the correct way for tire mounting is that put the air valve nozzle against the hollow yellow spot to keep the wheels in best balance.

The pattern that has direction mark should be mounted according to mark direction

Some tire pattern is a directional or asymmetry from the perspective of special needs. then they shall be mounted in accordance with the direction sign, or you will get in trouble, such as decline of control performance, braking performance and drainage function, etc. mounting tire of symmetrical pattern shall place the tire side with the DOT logo towards outside; when mounting tires of asymmetric pattern, if the DOT and pattern direction is contradictory, the direction of the pattern is in the first place (to solve this problem, some manufacturer mark DOT on either side of the tire).

The air pressure value of the tire is marked on each tire. The correct air pressure value should be 80% to 100% of the standard value of the tire(The point here is that the tire pressure should be based on the standard of the tire rather than the air pressure the vehicle require). When you plan to set air pressure at 80%, Do not set pressure directly to the value and stop, The right way to set tire air pressure to 100% of standard value or slightly exceeds 100%, and then reduce pressure to the required value. This makes the tire lip fully fit with the wheel rim, but also carries out a small test before hitting the road.

Strict dynamic balance, first mount tires on the wheel rim, put the yellow dot on the same side of wheel rim valve nozzle and overlap; then, inflate, and place on dynamic balance machine testing without a counter weight; and then put away part of the air, spinning tires, make the yellow dot slightly off valve nozzle, again inflate, and place on the dynamic balance machine, make sure the best position of yellow dot.

That is to say, on the premise of no counter weight, minimize the dynamic balance of deviation, and then place a counter weight, and reach 100% balance, so that we can make the counter weight least, and weight deviation of 4 wheels minimum.

There is also a point, when carrying out dynamic balance after repair, first remove the original counter weight.
